One of the many reasons on our list for moving up here was that this location offers skiers and boarders like us a choice of venues, doubling our opportunities to get onto the snow and affording us different challenges, runs and routes.

Within a 30 minute drive from Eagle View lie the Cairngorms, Scotland's premier ski area, with Downhill, Snowboarding, Telemark and Nordic, all well catered for. A little further away, approx 45 minutes or so, is the smaller more intimate Nevis Range offering similar facilities and a change of scenery. Last but not least, the Lecht ski area located between Tomintoul and Cockbridge is about an hour's distance from us.

Okay, here's a deal:

Book the whole house from Monday to Friday from January to March for £1000! Bed and Breakfast. House will sleep up to eight people (4 doubles or twins all en-suite a single room is also available).

• Minibus to and from slopes. We will find the best conditions in all of Scotland's skiing centres and take you there.
• No-skiing day activities organised (dry ski slope, mountain biking, watersports, horse riding, guided hill-walking, day-trips, scrabble).
• Free snowboard instruction two hours per day for any or all of the group.
• Clothing wash and dry facilities.
• Ski passes and no-skiing day activities are not included in the price, except scrabble, dominos etc. which are free.

Trips and accommodation to Zermatt and the Matterhorn can be arranged, price on application. Though all-day snowboarding lessons are still free .
