Welcome to Eagle View Guest House in Highlands, Scotland.

Eagle View Guest House became ours in November 2004 when we decided to leave behind a very hectic life in Edinburgh and settle here in Newtonmore, Scotland.

When we left the city, our plan for Eagle View Guest House was, and still remains, to create a guest house which would offer bed and breakfast accommodation, set within this beautiful location in the Highlands, which was second to none.

With that end in mind we spent the first several months before we opened in May of 2005 sympathetically restoring and refurbishing (divorce proceedings narrowly averted!!) this very lovely 200 year old house which had, over the years, slid somewhat into dust and disrepair. The project was hard work, lots of very late nights and early mornings (definitely not Moira’s favourite thing), but we think it was worth it!

As for interior decoration and furnishings it was important to us that they were of a high quality not only to meet your expectations as a guest, but also in order to reflect our own personal taste and bring a warm, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere to your stay at Eagle View Guest House.

Happily, the end result seems to have captured this atmosphere and achieved our aims. However, for Eagle View to succeed as a guest house it is not our opinion which matters but rather you as our guests who make the final judgement and have the last word.
